One particular aspect of human history that is somehow overlooked is the contribution of the Islamic Golden Era (8th - 12th centuries) to the shaping of the modern world.
Imaret believes that it is only fair that the people who conserved and developed basic principles of Mathematics, Astronomy, Chemistry, Medicine, Geography, Alchemy and bequeathed us with masterpieces of Poetry, Music and Art should begin to reclaim their rightful place in the contemporary intellectual world.
